Wilson, listed at 6-foot-4, 250 pounds, recorded a team-high 112 tackles this past season, including 11 1/2 tackles for loss, four sacks, three forced fumbles and an interception. "In the end, my decision came down to achieving my goals," Wilson said. "This year, I've accomplished two very important personal goals: to be the first in my family to obtain a college degree and to help Illinois win a bowl game. After weighing all my options, I've decided it was time to pursue my next goal and take my game to the next level." Illinois defeated Baylor, 38-14, in the 2010 Texas Bowl. Wilson suffered a herniated disc in his neck in the 2009 season opener and was granted a medical redshirt.
